Kids: 7-11 years old

The kids training is planned to emphasis having fun, enjoyment and development of basic skills. The sessions will focus on:

-          Overall Fitness Development

-          Learning turns, corners, balance on the bike

-          Body balance

-          Running stride

-          Build and enjoy new friendship

-          Play fun games

Tuesday – Bike

Thursday – Run

Saturday – Transitions (Bike + Run)

Our sessions start at 7am at the Giraween Sports Complex.

Monthly cost: $130

Casual session: $15

Youth: 12-14 years old

The youth training is planned to emphasisenjoyment, advanced skills and refinement of technique and racing. The training sessions will focus on:

-          Overall Fitness Development

-          Refinement of swimming technique

-          Intermediate bike skills

-          Advanced running technique

-          Develop/enhance interest for the sport

The athletes will receive a weekly training plan through Training Peaks. The plans are individually prepared in accordance to the fitness level of each athlete.

Schedule:

Monday – Swim 5.30am

Tuesday – Bike 5.15am / Run 4pm

Wednesday – Swim 5.30 am

Thursday – Bike 5.15 am / Track Run 4.30pm

Friday – Swim morning (Open water or pool)

Saturday – Transitions 5.45am

Sunday – Bike or Run

The swim training is done at the Noosa Aquatic Centre through the platinum and junior squad program.

The bike and run training locations are announced with the weekly training plan. (Normally these sessions are at the Giraween Sports Complex or meeting at the Noosa Aquatic Centre)

The junior training is planned to emphasis training, technique and competition. The training sessions will focus on:

-          Sport-specifictraining

-          Advanced bike skills

-          Advanced running technique

-          Commitment to training on a regular basis
